This page explains what cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) run on positivehuman.co, what they’re for, and how you control them.
Your choice
When you first visit, you can accept or reject optional cookies. I remember that choice on this device. You can change it anytime:
Reject means optional analytics and marketing tags don’t load. The site still works — forms, navigation, booking, and the newsletter signup all function without them.
What runs without asking
A small preference record (in your browser’s local storage) so I don’t keep asking you about cookies on every visit. That’s it for “strictly necessary” tracking on my side.
What runs only if you accept
Analytics — PostHog
PostHog (EU-hosted) helps me see which pages and flows are useful — things like page views, newsletter signups, and booking form submits. I use it to improve the site, not to sell your data.
Tag manager — Google Tag Manager
After you accept, I load Google Tag Manager (GTM). GTM is a container that can run other tags. Right now that may include:
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — so if I run LinkedIn ads, I can measure clicks, visits, and conversions. I may turn this on when campaigns are live.
- RightMessage — personalisation on the site (showing more relevant content or offers based on how you use the site).
Testimonials — Senja
The full “wall of love” testimonials widget is powered by Senja. That script only loads after you accept. If you say no, you’ll still see a couple of static quotes I host myself — no Senja cookies.
Tools that load because you asked for something
These aren’t part of the optional cookie pack. They only come into play when you take a specific action (or land on a page that exists solely to finish that action):
- Kit — newsletter forms are plain HTML that post to Kit when you hit Subscribe. No Kit tracking script runs while you’re just browsing.
- Calendly — the scheduling embed loads only on the thank-you page after you’ve asked to book a call. It’s there so you can pick a time; I don’t load it sitewide.
Those vendors have their own privacy practices once you’re interacting with their service.
How long things last
Your accept/reject choice stays until you clear site data or change it via Manage cookie preferences. Analytics and ad tags use their own cookie lifetimes (often months). Exact durations depend on each vendor.
